ALPHA 8

After 8 months of intense activity, work development and building, the new ROV ALPHA 8 is achieved.

Five containers containing the ROV, its buoyancy, its umbilical, its container control and its spare parts left July 1St of SIMEC. His arrival in Singapore is predicted for August 4.

Sea trials will take place at the end of mobilization (anticipated start August) offshore of Brunei for the part of the large funds (2,000 m) and then off the coast of the Malaysia

These tests will determine the acceptance of the ROV which must replace HECTOR 7 upon completion of sea trials.
